Pre-Posting Checklist

Before submitting your question, please verify that you have:

• Included the Correct Script Name: Clearly state which script or extension you are using.

• Reviewed the Documentation: Double-check that all setup steps were followed correctly.

• Searched Existing Threads: Search the forum to ensure your issue hasn't already been reported or resolved.

• Categorized Your Issue: Specify whether your post is about an installation issue, a script bug, a feature request, or another inquiry.

Reporting Script Errors

If you are reporting a bug or error, please provide clear, step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce the issue.

• The more detail you provide, the faster developers can replicate and fix the bug.

• Server-Specific Issues: Server configuration issues that do not prevent the script from operating—or those that can be resolved via a standard server upgrade—may be marked as low priority or ignored.

Requesting Installation Assistance

If you require hands-on installation support that involves granting temporary administrative access (such as FTP or cPanel login credentials):

• Data Safety: This site is not responsible for data loss in your database or server files. Always perform a full backup beforehand, or supply credentials for a dedicated staging/test environment.

• Production Sites: If you are requesting help on a live production server, inform the support team in advance so extra precautions can be taken.

• Post-Install Verification: Always review and test the installation thoroughly once support has completed the setup.

Note for Extension Authors: Please test all feature releases thoroughly before publishing to minimize back-and-forth troubleshooting in the forum threads.

Unresponsive Authors & Escalate Options

If a script author remains unresponsive to an open bug report for an extended period, you may contact a forum administrator. Unmaintained scripts may be reviewed by administrators, and measures—such as contacting the developer directly or adding a warning banner to the script's download page—may be applied to protect the community.
